Udupi Sri Krishna Matha, under the divine guidance of H.H. Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Sri Puthige Matha, will celebrate the sacred occasion of Geetha Jayanthi with an unprecedented spiritual gathering — the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana — on November 28, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Matha premises in Udupi.

This grand event, part of the Bruhat Geetotsava celebrations (from November 8 to December 7, 2025), is dedicated to spreading the eternal message of the Bhagavad Gita and fostering global harmony through collective chanting, devotion, and knowledge.

The highlight of the event will be the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi’s auspicious visit to the Sri Krishna Matha on November 28, where he will offer prayers, have darshan of Lord Sri Krishna, and participate in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana along with thousands of devotees, scholars, and saints.

The month-long Bruhat Geetotsava will encompass:

• Gita Parayana and Gita Mahayaga

• Santa Sangama and Bhajanotsava (Nov 30, 2025)

• International Gita Symposium

• Gita Quiz & Competitions for students and devotees

• Exhibitions, Demos, and Cultural Programs centered on the timeless teachings of the Bhagavad Gita

This divine initiative aims to unite devotees across the world in the chanting of the Gita, symbolizing the harmony of knowledge (jnana), devotion (bhakti), and action (karma).
