Sri Sri Susreendra Thirtha Swamiji was known as Prashanth Acharya before he took Sanyasa Ashrama on 21st Apr 2019. He was an engineering graduate and was working as a team lead in Ericsson, a software company in Bengaluru. His devotion to Lord Sri Krishna and MukhyaPrana, strong inclination towards spirituality and firm determination has gained him the great opportunity to enter Sanyasa Ashrama in the lineage of Jagadguru Sriman Madhwacharya. He was handpicked by Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji after observing and examining for eight long months! Sri Sri Susreendra Thirtha Swamiji has been under severe penance and studying Vedic scriptures under the able guidance of his Guru and great scholars. He has completed four Chaturmasya Vrata as on May 2023. He hails from Kadiyali near Udipi. The privileged parents are Sri Gururaja Acharya and Smt. Vinutha Acharya.
